That's not a real picture ,Marie. Are they going to 'shock and awe' the
whole country. They don't have that much armament, and what would they
accomplish. I'm not expecting any kind of tyranny, soon (and if you call the
last 7 years, tyranny, you have to be kidding, you are far too educated to
comapare the Bush/Pelosi tenure to Stalin , Tito, Castro, etc.)

Troops invade on ground, with boots, carrying rifles. There are more private
rifles in this country's civiian hands than in this country's military.
There are more privately owned arms just in Texas, than in most of the world
combined (privately). Most countries either outright don't allow, or
restrict fire-arm ownership to the very rich and privileledge.

Iraq stopped our military with less arms than would be in Phoenix, proper.
Afganistan stopped Russia with less AK's than are sold in the U.S.. on an
annual basis.

It does make a difference, being armed. The Constituion is a wonderful thing
