Yup, the unfortunate thing is the candidates know that and pull out all the
stops. Today, the Washington
Post on page 8 indicates that the Obama campaign has stated that they are
NOT checking the donations
they are receiving for fraud, and intend to do so after the fact. We know
the entire Dallas Cowboys team has contributed the max 2300.00 apiece in 2
different states, and a guy named mickey mouse has contributed the max in
almost
all 50 states. 100 million dollars raised over the internet and none of that
has been checked for validity. I guess they will check after the election,
lot
of good that will do.

I agree. The winners don't want fraud uncovered, and the losers don't
have the power to uncover it. It won't ever get as far as a recall. But
there is a growing rumbling in the masses...registration fraud, purging
voter rolls, faulty machines...it seems to get louder with each
election. I'd like to see it lead to election reform. Wishful thinking.
