To upgrade BL2 to work with Seamonkey 1.1.15 (gtk1)
and Firefox 1.5.0.12 Deer Park (gkt1)

You need to install the entire glibc-solibs package from Slackware 11.

IIRC, you also need the elflibs package from Slackware 11.

You only need one file from there:
I copied libcc_s.so.1, a dependency, from SW11.
Firefox would not accept the SW8.1 version. Seamonkey did not complain.

In addition, Seamonkey needs libstdc++.so.5 (the Slackware 9.0 version works) and Firefox was compiled to need libstdc++.so.6 (from SW11). I think these are in cxxlibs package.

I have uploaded all three files to:

http://keesan.freeshell.org/bl/libgcc_s.so.1-SW11
http://keesan.freeshell.org/bl/libstdc++.so.5.0.2-SW90
http://keesan.freeshell.org/bl/libstdc++.so.6.0.3-SW11

Remove the -SW** and copy to /usr/lib then run ldconfig.

SW90 libraries need glibc 2.3.2, SW11 2.3.6.

To use sjphone softphone for VOIP, copy SW11 libX11.so.6.2 to /usr/X11/lib/ and run ldconfig. I will upload that on request.
