Try various IDE drives, for instance
fdisk /dev/hdb
fdisk /dev/hdc
and so on.

If it doesn't show up that way, it may be useless, unless you
can get it to work with SCSI/USB/other modules (those kinds of
devices are not accessed with hda/hdb/hdc IDE device names, but
instead SCSI device names such as sda/sdb).
