I'd say most Mac users are interested in using the computer, rather than tinkering with it. But the Mac hot-rodders are out there, and they seem to like the new Apple hardware.

So if you must scratch that do-it-yourself itch (which is a nice way to save money on upgrades) the information is out there, even for Mac laptops. Check this out:
