I'm a Tesla fan, and like the wireless power concept. I'm curious, tho, how you came across this? There's an interesting book, "Networks of Power," Tom Hughes, mentions them all, but I had the impression of a larger, way complicated thing establismnent of the power grid. ... Also, I think I saved it, I came across an newsletter article about "Would it have worked," Tesla's plan for distributing power w/o wires? I don't know how good the article is, but it was thought provoking, at least!

Well, since Digital Rights Management is dreaming and since someone already
mentioned the evil corporations and their profit motives, I think I'll pick
up there.
If the evil Thomas Edison and George Westinghouse and their respective
empires hadn't repressed the brilliant work of one Mr. Tesla, we'd all have
free power without wires right now and we wouldn't have to worry about ice
storms and tree mangling power company right of ways.
