How's the spider bite? When will you be back on your RA med?

Cathy

The bite has stopped draining, as of last night, and the hard, red area
is back to the size of a quarter. The 'hole' is a bit bigger than a
pencil eraser, maybe the diameter of a Sharpie. It still hurts, but it
is a lot better. I'm still taking the antibiotics, and probably will
for another week. I did not take my meds last week, and I didn't take
it this week. I was hoping the infection would be under control enough
to risk it, but it isn't. Maybe next week. So far, I'm only feeling the
burn in my hands and feet, which are swollen. I'm dropping stuff, and
feel a bit like a weeble, bumping into walls and stuff. It's sucking my
energy, too, as I am pretty achy and tired. I was a bit blurry eyed
and had a fever last night, but not today. It's typical flare stuff,
kind of like having a cold or the flu without all the sniffing and
coughing and such. If I can't take the meds next week, then I'll really
start feeling it by the end of next week. Usually, I have about a three
week window of operation before things get bad. Unless the bite
worsens, I should be able to get back on track next week...I'll bet you
are sorry you asked...lol...but thanks for caring.

I did go hunting today, but only to the back pasture. I did not have it
in me to climb the mountain. I did walk up the hill/ridge a few hundred
feet to take some pictures of the pine beetle damage-that was enough.
I'll post those later. On the way back, I saw a scrape in the woods and
then I passed a little pine on the edge of the pasture where a buck had
rubbed. The boys are BACK!

Bev
