Yes, it really seems to exist. BDB lists Jer 11.16; 15.12; *** Job 34.24
***; Ps 2.9; Pr 25.19; Is 24.19 (with a note to delete final He). Note
the Job passage -- it seems difficult to take it as anything (otherwise
proposed) other than "smash."
