All the pertinent fact would take years to do Lawrence. It is happening
every day. Some reccon there were 2 million orphans in Iraq alone. And for
what. John Perkins whit his "Confessions of an economic hitman" can set you
on the track.

This has been recommended to me several times. It has to do with economic
coercion in
a particular South American country.

It is much more global than that. In fact it takes place on all continents and very much in Africa at the moment. And it is also not just economic coercion. Often that is only the first step. You probably heard or readf of a civil war going on in Zaire at the moment? "Rebels" from Ruanda invading Zaire and comitting genocide along the way. Aided and abetted by the UK and US. There is talk now of making three provinces of Zaire independent. N and S Kivu and Katanga where most of the minerals are...gold, copper, cobalt and diamonds and some rare earths. People are dying there at the moment

[snip]

still...
I would advice you to try and get a copy of the book "Gladio by Richard
Cottrell" ,ex European Parlimentarian, journalist to give you an idea of
what happened in Europe and elsewhere since the end of WW2. Count the
casualties in Europe maybe. It might also give some insights in why the

I have learned much about the destruction of Serbia at the end of the
Balkans war.
I usually make comments about these things on Facebook, rarely ever G+ and
now here
where there is the most intelligent discourse .

Gladio is the code name of the State within the State. The fascist military that was alowed to continue business as usuall after the war with the idea to stop a Russian invasion if and when it should come. Cold war stuff. The CIA, MI6, NATO working together with the Mafia and the underworld in every country and terrorist organisations and with strong involvement of national governments and the vatican. Dealing massive amounts of weapons and drugs and making money from pedophile rings and blackmail. All to weave a web of deception and to keep the general population afraid and doing what is wanted.
Waves of terror washed over almost every European country for 50 years. Bombs were exploded in public places and people randomly shot. Belgium was perhaps not the worst place but before we came to Ireland there were a few "Communist" cells causing a lot of hardship. The CCC (Cellules Communiste Combatantes) exploded pressure cookers filled with explosives in public places. The "Gang of Nijvel" entered supermarkets and opened fire with riot guns on the public deliberately creating blood baths and then taking off with the contents of the tills often no more than a few hundred $$. They did that 5-6 times just before a general election and they were succesful for there was a turn to the right. An extra advantage was that the Belgian police now had an excuse to invade thousands of homes of everybody who was known to have leftish leanings. And they made the most of it, breaking down ceilings and breaking up floors looking for hidden weapons. Confiscating papers and everything else they fancied. And they never found any trace of the culprits of the atrocities probably because some of them were involved directly in them..
Anyway, "Gladio" explains exactly who did what, where and how and with what results. And many of the names are from well known politicians who are still powerfull today. Of course, since the fall of the iron curtain a new enemy was needed and we are now all afraid of anything Muslim.

Serbia was mostly a way to get rid of a few years worth of highly radioactive waste that would have cost a fortune to store safely otherwise.

brand new pope became pope with his reccord of aiding and abedding dead
squads in Argentina.

For a Catholic Jesuit priest this is unforgiveable, if actually true.

The Argentinian mothers of the disappeared seem to think so.

They
"disapeared" (there is a movie about this)
all the hippies, lefties and alternative types then adopted their orphaned
children.
His latest statement is something about the Catholic Church needing to
focus more on theological teachings
if it wants to avoid being relegated to the pages of history as being
simply another NGO in the service of humanity.
If only they would do just that! He is a conservative Catholic who abhorred
the Liberation Theology movement of decades past.

Months ago I posted here a deeply thoughtful statement the previous
Pope.made to the media which I really liked. They are at least capable of
_saying_
inspiring things. Every now and then I think I missed my calling, that of a
Tibetan sherpa or an ascetic monk who has assumed holy orders in one of the
world's religions,
one with a rich literary, musical and artistic tradition.

This is all very depressing and I can still not condense hundreds of books

and thousands of data in a few paragraphs.
And if I should disappear of line I may already have said too much.
John

What a hoot! You and millions of others!

Yes, it will take some effort to see to those millions but there are good people dying somewhat mysteriously every week.
John
