The problem, Lynn, is that my husband does not share my beliefs.

Bev; it bothers me that Ron should dictate what you do for your
health. It's your body and your choices. He should care, but support
whatever YOU decide. Of course, I'm the last one who should be giving
marriage advice :-)

It is not really dictating though, he just thinks that I make bad
decisions sometimes, and he says he doesn't want one to cost me my life.
In fairness, I understand where he is coming from because just last
month I almost took a trip to the ER for accidentally taking two pills
instead of one. I wasn't paying close enough attention. He also
strongly disapproves of my use of veterinary meds, for example. He
calls my alternatives, "self medicating", which it is, of course, and
"you are not a doctor, Bev, even though you think you are..."lol..He's
really that voice of reason in my head and I do need that, so it's okay,
really. It's just that sometimes, it hurts like he was so mad at me for
self medicating the other night(taking the Keflex again) that he yelled
at me and I think he threw the bottle, but he says he did not. I was in
pain, he was stressed, it was a sucky time waiting for the ambulance for
30 minutes, you know..oh and the ambulance hit a deer on the way
in..lol..can you believe it? But anyway, he cares, and that's a good
thing, and like I said, he is very logical and analytical, and he has an
ability to cut right through things to the meat of it, and he very often
is my counterweight.

The true significance of Sacajawea's involvement in the Lewis & Clark
expedition is that it was the first documented trip in history where men
asked a woman for directions and followed them, allowing them to arrive
at their destination.
