I don't exactly remember the look of the buggies. I remember being told by
local friends how expensive the buggies were and how "rich" the people were;
regardless of how they lived. Remember , I was young, listening to real
superficial conversation. My only personal observations of the people was
looking at crafts/quilts? (It has been too long). I just generally remeber
casual, friendly business interaction.
Sunnyslope is on the outer edge of central phoenix. generally it would be
considered a working class area. I haven't been there in years. I went to
one business, occasionally, out there ; many years ago. I don't remeber it
being a particularly attractive area for winter visitors; but , every part of
the city has nice --even very nice- pockets, that , unless you live in that
part of town, you are generally not aware
