I said that, and then I explained that I extrapolated the tens of thousands thing from a local observation. I also said that I was wrong and that I should not have done that.
I think the key word in your last sentence is 'imply'. That is the take you read into it, not my intention. I think we even talked about different news/media sources, because some believed one thing, and some did not. That "implies" equality, just making a decision based on different information.
Is this, Moon, what you are upset about?

I haven't followed this whole argument, so I don't know what Moon said about you, or exactly what the current fight is about. But I thought it was a little over the top when you wrote: "There were
thousands, tens of thousands, of blacks out of work yesterday, believing that Obama will save them". I'd think someone besides you would notice if "tens of thousands" of people stayed home from work. How can you know WHY they stayed home, if they did? To say that tens of thousands of black people think that Obama will save them so they don't have to go to work certainly implies that you don't have much respect for their intelligence.

It's been over 12 hours and I'm still waiting Moon. You have said some
nasty things to me and about me. I want to know what 'suck ass phrase'
I used to warrant your wrath.
I apologize or correct myself when I am wrong or misstate something. I
think I am the only one on this list who ever does. But I know that I
never said 'poor black people are too stupid to know better' or 'poor
black people' or because I don't even think that way. If you can find me
ever saying that, I will unsub immediately and you won't have to deal
with this 'bigoted, stupid, Georgia redneck' I won't hold my breath for
an apology, but I think you owe me one.
You are surprised that no one is condemning me.
I am surprised that so few are defending my innocence, nor condemning
you for not backing up your attacks with quotes to prove your point.

Please find and re-post the post where I said that black people are
stupid. I am trying very hard to overlook the names and slurs you are
throwing in my direction. I have been trying to be accommodating to
you, to calm you down, but you continue to attack me. I honestly
don't understand why. If we are miscommunicating as you suggested
earlier, there is no need for name calling.

pertain to you saying "poor black people" are too stupid to know
better about Obama?
<snip>
Individual PEOPLE might not get it, but I promise you, there are
many many educated people of any variety of colours who do. Except
maybe all those stupid red necked Georgians? (Do you SEE now how
offensive that it?)
<snip> from another post:
It's not about me. It's about Bev using a really suck ass phrase. You
want to applaud her bigotry, have at it, but quit tearing me down to
make it seem ok.
