For that many people though?  You could only fry a few fish at once, even
with the biggest pan.
Usually we had these gatherings at campgrounds..that's why I am recalling
Coleman stoves, I think.

We'd have a number of campfires going and a Coleman stove or two to put the
pans on but the Colemans aren't usually all that big. The BIG cast iron
frying pans are about 16" across, maybe 18". Those we stuck over the
campfires. They are way bigger than my stainless 12" pans. We'd have a
number of people cooking and then have the old dutchovens on legs with the
lid you can put the coals on to make cornbread. Stick potatoes down in the
coals and roast corn.
