To help organize some of my stuff in the shop, I bought a few big plastic
storage bins from Big Lots. They're probably 3-1/2' long by 2' deep and 18"
or so deep. They have casters at one end and a handle molded in on the
other. I labelled one "wood" one "metal" one "air" and one
"plumbing/electrical" It's not the most organized way, because I will
usually have to unload the bin to find the tool/part I need, but unloading a
bin is easier that searching a shop. It also makes it easier when loading
tools to do a job away from home. The bins roll out of the way and store
nicely under shelving in the shop. They are weatherproof when hauling them
in the back of a truck, too.
