How do you recommend sharing an internet connection
between two or more computers, besides serial telnet?

Serial terminal (via a DOS or Linux term program).
We did this with telnet and will try with sshd some day after finding a long serial cable extension.

Xterminal (via local TCP/IP).
IP-masking firewall (gateway to internet for local TCP/IP).

If the computer with the internet connection is
much more powerful than the others, I would
recommend Xterminal. If the computer with the
internet connection is less powerful, IP-masking
firewall is better.

We don't need X, but how does Xterminal work and did you try it in BL?
Is a 100MHz laptop powerful enough (we have a PCMCIA wireless card)?

How do we set up IP-masking firewall?

I presume crossover network cable from the wireless-connected computer to the other computer (or use a hub if several).

Cheers,
Steven

If we network with a Windows laptop for which we have the wireless card driver, can we run a linux browser? If so, how?
