I had not seen the little link to BL3.4 kernels. Thanks for
pointing this out.

I see that bzimage.big has framebuffer support. No
need to compile another kernel.

scsi is set to Y but all of the low-level drivers are set to
M so Sindi will need an initrd if she wants to boot from
her scsi drive.

I can use your 2.4.31 kernel to boot from scsi drive (on one computer only) and for camera downloads and 2.2.26 the rest of the time. But is there any particular advantage to using a 750K 2.2.26 rather than your less-generalized 550K 2.4.31? Does 2.2.26 take up less RAM or boot faster even when it is so much larger to start with?
