I tried to do that and it said /dev/cdrom already exists.

ln /dev/cdrom /dev/hdb - should I do it backwards?
Or maybe I did it backwards. I am going to be too sleepy to
think straight until next Tuesday.

I will try ln /dev/hdb /dev/cdrom - maybe I tried that too?

I am only trying to find a way to prove I have sound working correctly. I
can listen to CDs by pushing the play button.

I am really after Realaudio.
