Hi,
if you want it works you need all of library list here else you need to
compile you're own from sources for it works ...
libgpm is in AP package it requires but you don't need to activate gpm ...
libtiff, libjpeg, libpng and libX11 should be in X packages or maybee in D
packages.

the easiest way is to use pkgtool for install them but if space is critic you
can only take the libs you need. not all package

good luck

I'm running BL1.8 on the hard disk of an old 386 based laptop--80M hd and
10M ram. I have one of the newer parallel port zip drives, which takes an imm
module which was not available when the 2.0.34 kernel was created.
Is there any way to use (mount) this drive using the 2.0.34 kernel? If
not,
which replacement would be best? If I replace the kernel, how do I replace
the
modules?
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

I think you are saying that I need to have all of these packages in order
to install Links 2.1, even if I do not want to view tiffs or use a mouse.

I found in /d1/
libtiff.so.3 (525K) and libping.so.2 (229K) but not libjpeg.so.62

libjpeg.so.62 is not on the file list - is it included with some package?

I found in /X/ the oldlibs.6.tgz package with libX11.so.6 (753K)

The other files are already in /usr/lib/ of BL2 except libgpm.so.1.
Is it in some package?

It would be handy if someone could make a package of the files needed for
Links 2.1 which are not already included in BL2 for hard drive. If I
succeed in finding them I will try to do this myself and post it, or maybe
JP would be so kind.
