I'm giving in on this one; I've done several stable-0.4 -> stable-rc-0.6
upgrades of both pieces and the system and I can't make it happen here.

Does anyone disagree?

A new one: While I was doing the above upgrades, I found that on my test
system at least, doing just 'sorcery queue; cast --queue' ends up with a
glibc failure due to errors about symbol definition loops. But it appears
to only happen if glibc casts before gcc. If I do the toolchain (in order)
explicitly before the rest of the system, no errors (so far; it's still
going, but glibc didn't fail this time for sure).

So, this probably isn't gating, but it may mean people will have a glibc
error using the default upgrade path if they don't have a practice of
watching for toolchain updates and managing them separately. They can just
'cast --queue' again and it should get through the second time, but that
could be a disturbing error for people, and a waste of compile time. Do we
want to do anything about this?
