As a fellow small-business owner, I think we can both agree that the less the government is involved in our businesses, the better. The problem is that the government does have a responsibility to set some regulations for the greater good, the Clean Air Act and other regulations pertaining to keeping the water supply clean are just two examples.

In this case, even the Bush Administration has found that smoking in confined areas is a significant health risk:

I firmly believe that people should be allowed to smoke if they want to, the problem is that a smoker's right to smoke is eclipsed by the non-smokers right not to be affected by second hand smoke; the rights to clean air and clean water are fundamental.
