Michael: I'm "down" with you on this! Seriously, and kidding aside, I agree. I'm continually reminded of the opening lines of "Waiting for Godot": "Nothing to Be Done." I don't believe that, personally, but I'm still not sure how to get a handle on this one! Not to alarm the one working with NC Live, but what happens when costs and prices, and incomes get so low that the public sector that funds these type of services, no longer will/can? ...things like that!

I don't think there's any question that what we're seeing is part of an old trend of both job and business migration. The big difference is the use of the internet to do remote professional work that used to be immune to such things, and the big question is what are each of us personally going to do about it?
