My father was hyperthyroid for but took an artificial anti-thyroxin for a
number of years and eventually the chronic surplus level of thyroxin fell,
permanently it seems. So I am quite familiar with the condition. But what
you
bring up very much illustrates the point.

In one of the old sitcoms, don't recall because it's been years and years
since I've been exposed to broadcast TV, there was a fat slobby obnoxious guy
who
was always hitting on all the women who universally gave him the brush off.
Everytime it happened he'd turn to his buddies and say, "Obviously a Lesbo
..."

The women I described do not have hyperthyroidism. It's rather rare, at
least acute enough to cause uncontrolled jitters. And it is like or would be
Romeo in the above illustration to encounter a group of 13 women, seven of
whom
were rail thin and active, and say "Obviously they all have hyperthyroidism."

I do wonder if people go about their lives basing their conclusions and
actions on the possiblity of very rare phenoma.

The question remains, and in fact becomes much more germane. Do you know of
any fit women your age who gained significantly greater strength and
flexibility from the sort of regimen that you propose?
