What you will soon see is the previous bankruptcy act (thank Joe Biden, the
Senator from MBNA, as he is called) causing credit card companies to go hand
over fist after peoples assets, in such a way, that they will now qualify for
medicaid.

The medicaid rules concerning limits of assets vary by state, I don't know
what it is here, but I know that you can have "X" of equity in your home;
they will not let the bankruptcy court, in most cases, take the home, for a
CC debt, etc. But they can attach the equity.

In a round about way, the taxpayers will be paying for someones mediacl care

paying for that person's CC debt. that is tprobably the reasoning the man
you mentioned was using........................
