Sage , the ultimate 'insurer' in gov't run healthcare 'is' the gov't. They
also push as much paper on the practitioners, now, as do the insurance
companies.

One big difference is that a really incompetent private insurance company
employee can be terminated. Not true for gov't employees. Sometimes, I
think general incompetence is a postive on a resume or C.V. for a gov't
position ...............................................
