A lot of the folks that are currently buying organic are doing so because of the confidence level. That frequently translates into knowing the producer. I think WallyWorld is going to attrack a new group to organics, not relocate the old group to whom there is a whole "fresh" and "local" expectation.

We all might have to define a new term such as local-organic or local family-farm organic.

Many people accept paying more for organics. That
makes it easier for small producers to charge prices
that allow them to profit.
Is it possible that walmart will bring organic prices
down to the point that people won't buy without
discounted prices?
