You mean modify the floppy version to handle
scsi drives?
No, I was suggesting we could do a substitute
initfs.gz for the DOS version. That would
enable a scsi-user to boot the DOS version
by substituting initfs.gz (in /baslin) and
editing boot.bat to point at bzimage.big
instead of zimage.
The problem is I have no scsi hardware, so
I can't be sure the modified initfs.gz will
work. I certainly wouldn't want to confuse
a newbie by giving him something that doesn't
actually work.
I think I tried to redo initfs.gz once and could not get it working. If you want to post a scsi-capable initfs.gz I am can put a scsi drive into a computer (probably as a second drive since I am not good at getting DOS to boot from a scsi drive), put DOS and BL3 on it in sda1, and try to install to hd from there.

In that case also include sda2 3 4 and 5.
Or at least 4, which is a scsi zip drive.
