Using the ISA modem I am telnetted from the same BL3.40 installation where
I cannot telnet with the ltmodem "Can't get address for....." and ssh says
PRNG is not seeded. So the driver apparently is not handling ssh or
telnet properly. Do I need to add something else? David, can you please
try to telnet somewhere with ltmodem?

With the ISA modem (and for 2.2.26 with ltmodem) ssh gives me a 'PRNG is not seeded' in BL3.40 using kernels 2.2.16, 2.2.26, or 2.4.31. Telnet works in BL3.40 with kernel 2.2.26 (at least with the ISA modem - I should try the ltmodem again with it, maybe I goofed).

BL2 refuses to boot at all with kernels 2.2.16 or 2.2.26 and I cannot
chroot to it either: FATAL: kernel too old
With kernel 2.4.31 (that I compiled myself) ssh works in BL2.

I don't recall any problems with BL3.40 ssh on other computers with the same setup. This is my only PIII. Could someone else with a PIII try ssh on it? Do we need a newer or differently compiled ssh for PIII?

As 2.2.26 kernel I used Steven's p1 kernel. Should I use the generic kernel instead? Do I need a kernel compiled for p3? The 2.2.26 kernel had no such problems with PI, PII, or AMD-K6.
