overwrite it? I've also installed Abiword, but I cannot get it to start
from the CLI (can't open the display 0.0). What's the secret to getting
it to run?
start X first

I might also try installing and running Opera: any
instructions (Sindi?) on that?

For Opera 7.23 download and install my operalib.tgz. Opera 8 needed one more library (I think libz) and does not work on some of our computers.
Opera 7 does not always install either. Unpack Opera to / and then try to install it with install.sh and if it won't install, run it from the script 'opera' in the directory it unpacked to.

Finally, will BL3.4 come out in a floppy
version any time soon? If not, is there a way to sort of "upgrade" this
BL3.32 install to 3.4?

Change kernel, modules, and busybox. Make symlinks for any additional programs in busybox. Steven has also made some other helpful little changes, such as the choice between 4 and 15 (not 12) bit color in X, and the pcmcia config file now includes support for CF adaptor.

I could probably mount the qemu disk image as a
looped filesystem. Is there a way to mount BL3.4 similarly and just copy
stuff over? If I just loop mount fs.img, for example?

Thanks, James
