all you might already have installed bl3 but i was
thinking it might be a "waste" of space to install bl3
on the whole partition unless you plan to upgrade
(install slackware packages) i don't think you need
more than 100mb under normal circumstances (and that's
stretching it). there are some disk partitioning tools
you can get; i hear (knoppix has something like
that)which would allow you to resize your main
partition without you losing data (as always you are
advised to back up your data) AND create an ext2
partition with the space you free
DOS partition magic works well. Partition resizer was suggested.
Try Ultimate Boot CD tools.
