I've been using the "european" for several years now. It works pretty
well on about any size seed. I was disappointed in the construction. A
collar around the shaft in the seed hopper was loose and dangling on
the shaft when I received it. Johnny's couldn't seem to comprehend the
problem from my description and asked for photos. As if they had not
seen the problem before. I gave up on them. Most all the paint has
come off in great flakes. The surface was obviously not well prepped;
was probably oily when they painted.
