Hi Heather,

I work with Rivka, this is Steve Carroll at Road's End Farm. I responded to the list from my email address, but that was my first post, so I think the moderator has to okay it before it will go through. I'll paste what I wrote below, if you want to email me off list, you can use this address for now:

Thanks for the comment (I work with Rivka, I did the technical side of the Road's End site). Yes, you can create a website for free with Wordpress. Wordpress is actually a site for bloggers, but a lot of people use it to create basic websites like this one, and you don't need to know html. You can choose from a pretty long list of available themes, which are basically templates for websites / blogs. You'd need to create an account at wordpress.com and go on from there. If you have any questions, you can email me off list.

Steve

I like your site a lot- easy to use and not cluttered.  I agree with Bill's comment about using more photos.  Is wordpress a free type of website system?  I'm looking into a website for our farm as well.  Thanks,

Some time ago I asked on this list for advice about websites, and got
a good deal of useful information; thanks, everybody. We're finally
ready (we hope) to make this public; and would like to know what you
think -- anything we should have included? (we intend to add recipes
shortly); anything we should have left out? does this work in
everybody's browsers? can someone check it on a mobile browser? etc.
