In Ohio, you are able to make and sell certain products using your home kitchen. I think they term it "cottage" business, not sure. Cannot remember exactly what is allowed, basically your baked foods. I do know that if the product is acidified, it is not allowed under this cottage/home use. The labeling requirements are not bad either.

And, after re-reading your post, all this probably does not apply since I think this cottage/home thing is only if you sell at your residence. As you can tell, we have never really persued it.

I guess laws in different states are different, but maybe not, dealing with
commercial kitchen, and what the requirements are.

Can you tell me what is required for a commercial kitchen and also, what
does a health inspection require when someone is inspected in their home for
the products that they cook and sell at Farmers Markets?

I don't have to go by this yet, and I am just wondering.

Thank you.
