The only hat worth wearing in the garden is a Tilly.They are on the web
check them out. Best hat I have ever owned and they are guaranteed for
life.
As for shoes the Doc Martin hikers are fantastic.

Okay - while the apparel subject has been brought up - I've been meaning
to
ask for sometime now if anyone has a good source for a work hat for the
field. It needs to provide shade and stay on in the wind - a neck strap
is
no problem. And it needs to be accessible probably via the web. I
can't
tell you how many hats hang in our laundry room that I "thought" might
work
but haven't.
