Hi,
I am a long time lurker trying to learn as much as I can while I get my ducks
in a row. I really wasn't ready for this but it seems an opportunity has
fallen into my lap. A small summer only resort restaurant has asked me to
help supple produce. They say they desperately need any local products.

At this point I have a large area with raised beds a small greenhouse and a
long hoop house. We got the raised beds established last summer. I have
sheep, cattle and horses so fertilizer/compost is not a problem. The
greenhouse is a small plastic cheapie from the feed store and the hoop house
is made from cattle panels and plastic sheeting.

I am a long time gardener and I have a complete collection of tools and
equipment aquired over the yeeears in anticipation of getting a real farm
someday. I have a small Kubota with most of the attachments, rototiller,
scraper, brush hog.
What do you think? Should I jump in with both feet and go for it?? We are
looking at retirement but I am still being supported by a working husband.
SInce I am no longer working it would be so good to start making some money

Thanks in advance.
Margaret
