I would think that if you told customers that all corn has worms (which is
quite false) that would just encourage them to either open the ears to see
just how wormy they are or to buy elsewhere.
I don't spray at all and I don't have ear worms. Maybe that's why I get $3
or more a dozen while the wormy sprayed corn goes for $1.50 or less a dozen.
