Are there no independent slaughterhouses around?? We have several
here due to small family beef growers, and hunters who are moving away
from processing their own meat due to sanitation issues. We use a
local one for family processing of chickens & rabbits, and will use
them whenever I decide to sell the meat.
Ask your local hunters--they may know where small processors are
located.
