I'm just about to get a house built, and wondering if I should include cat

room as the cable modem and go wireless for anything else ??

Any other thoughts ?

Yes run a bunch of cable now. There is no difference in the labor involved
only the cost of the cable. I'd go ahead and run cat6. Run more than you
think you'll need.

Unfortunately, the builder for my new house wouldn't run CAT5 for me, and wouldn't let me do it myself. What are the costs for running some cabling post-drywall?
