Fancy - definitely. Great dumplings, and some other haute cuisiney
choices on the menu.

"Meanwhile, Moore Square is glowing into the wee hours since The Duck
and Dumpling opened two weeks ago, just a couple of doors down from
Tir na nOg. Chef/proprietor David Mal, who previously owned the
now-shuttered Mandarin in Cameron Village, is serving a pan-Asian bill
of fare in a contemporary bistro setting with a sleek urban feel and a
mirrored mahogany bar.

The menu's focus is Southeast Asia, particularly the foods of Mal's
native Vietnam: grilled lemongrass pork and house specialty crispy
duck and dumpling soup, to name just two. But other Asian cultures are
well represented, too, from Japanese edamame to house fried rice with
shrimp, pea pods and homemade Chinese sausage. The Duck and Dumpling
(838-0085) serves lunch Monday through Friday, and dinner Tuesday
through Saturday. The bar (whose enticements will soon include a late
night menu) remains open until 1:30 a.m."

It's yummy.
