Chris(t),
Cute.
as an independent-thinking adult, i consider this behavior of yours injurious to me, and perhaps others. the word "infringing" comes to mind.
Oh you poor victim.
christianity and people like you
People like me? Gosh, David, you don't even know me. You're throwing accusations my way that don't even fit. I have to wonder if you're talking to the right person or not.
are the main cause for my pain and animosity. the remainder of the organized religions only add to this burden.
Organized religions *are* terrible. I'm glad I'm not part of one.
that is why it gets directed right back at you.
It sounds like you need a scapegoat.
my apology to you was based on the condition that you would keep your religion and censorial ways to yourself -- and off the lists.
I didn't see any conditions in there.
however, in less than 3 months you proved that you were unable to do this and the good will was rescinded. tough break for you, i guess.
I'm heartbroken.
not that i am interested in pursuing a libel suit, but you accuse me of smoking crack without evidence,
The delusions are a good hint. Congratulations, you have single handedly taken a constructive thread about local politics and turned it into a Christian bashing (both the faith and Christian Hedemark) festival. What's next for me? Got a hungry lion?

You've thrown this at me before, David, and I'd like to point out that you're missing the context.
Shortly before this, someone (maybe you, but I don't hold grudges the way you seem to so I don't recall who it was) was very upset that I was signing my mails with the prefix "Reverend" and asked that religious signatures be censored from the list.
Someone, and I do think it was you, made a post laced with vulgarities and while it was not the first time, it WAS conveniently timed close to the time that I was catching flak for having some short bit of Biblical inspiration in my signatures. You may be taking that as a serious attempt at censorship, but my track record on the steering committee would disagree with your contention.
In my time on the TriLUG SC, a vote for list censorship came up and I was probably the single strongest voice *against* censorship on the TriLUG lists (other SC members were *for* censorship, but the vote was held in private so I'll leave your wild imagination to guessing who wanted to start censoring the list).
i've always considered your online style to be akin to a pudgy, pasty bully.
You have quite an imagination, don't you?
your own chosen monikers of "WartHog"
I didn't choose it. It chose me. You have no idea what it is about.
and "ThunderBear"
Again, you have no idea what it is about.
couldn't be more apt. long ago, when others were welcoming Josep (Sinner) to the trilug list, you were telling him "to repent."
Josep and I are friends. I could probably dig that message up, but anyone with even an ounce of humor in their bones would know that this was a joke. I have never rammed my faith down Josep's throat, nor do I use this or other mailing lists as a soapbox for my faith (beyond a simple signature stating where I stand, which is something that you cannot begrudge a person).
so, maybe you weren't telling me directly, but you were telling it to a friend of mine and i told him to "not worry about the christian extremist." none of us jumped to conclusions -- we all had it rubbed in our faces.
David, I really don't know where you're getting this from, but your altered perception of reality is really spooky.
since then it has been the same - tiny insertions of your rather overbearing religious views spilling onto technology lists.
Really? Overbearing? I find that amusing on one side, and disturbing on the other. The mere fact that I state that I am a Christian makes me overbearing?
it has NOT brought me pleasure to deal with your affronts over the years; all of which you claim not to have done. is this how you find your "dream job"? by pissing off people on internet lists?
David, you seem to be the only angry bitter person here. You've said some pretty nasty things about me today, and in the past, and you know what the moment you asked me to "forgive & forget" back in May, it was all forgotten in my mind. Truly. It sounds like you never really let go of your anger. Or your apparent need to paint me as some hardcore far right fundamentalist that comes knocking at your door demanding you to repent. I wouldn't even be replying to this on the mailing list here, except that silence on the matter might be misconstrued as a "guilty" plea to the charges you've judged me for.
I really have to wonder why out of all the people in the area you've chosen me as a focal point for your anger. I've never slighted you. I've never rammed any dogma down your throat. And when you told me you wanted to put the past behind us, I took you at your word and never thought of it again.
anywho, i removed myself from trilug and tribug to not have to hear your opinion and now you want to run this list, too.
I'm sorry if you feel that I am such a drag on your life. I enjoy TriLUG, and I have to think that if I were as bad as you make me out to be that the TriLUG membership would not have voted me into the SC. There were a lot of GREAT people running this year, and I'm really surprised that I was one of the people chosen from such a great group of nominees.
okay. you win.
I'm not playing any game. I think you're playing solitaire, David. You're the only one that seems to know that this is a game, or even what the rules of the game are.
i'm out. again.
I'm sorry to hear that. If you change your mind, or want to talk about this privately and tell me *really* why you have so much animosity towards me, you know how to reach me and I would still be happy to talk.
