Hitler announced his intentions to take back the former German territories
long before doing so, he announced his hatred for the Jewish race before
trying
to exterminate them, and slavery was a
legal enterprise, plenty of warning there too. Does that make it all right
then? Does that make hitler and
the British honorable for their actions in Europe and bringing slaves to the
Americas? Nope. I have nothing
to atone for to Bin Laden. Serial killers have sent warnings before their
murders, but that does not make them right for following through in their
actions. Whether you believe he was right in doing so or not, Bin Laden
announced
and carried out crimes including mass murder. When my children try to use
the
excuse with me that so and so did something first, I never buy the excuse.
They are still responsible for their actions. Bin Laden is a criminal, no
matter what his excuses are.

So, they were upfront about their positions and intentions.

That is more honorable than how our predecessors treated native
Americans and how our prior countrymen treated the black race until
quite recently.

We have much to atone for.
