Some people will continue to work. Even in the depths of the Great
Depression the highest unemployment rate was less than 25 percent,
which meant that the great majority of people were still working. I'm
sure it could get that bad again, but not in the next 10 years or so,
and by that time we may have learned to cope.

Of course, back in the 1930s the employment rate may have been kept
more honestly than it is now.
