Lynn, I knew none of that before. I rather assumed you were a former yuppie
who took up small time commercial farming. You have made refernce to such in
the past. You are right, you do much.

Maybe some 18 year old who reads the archives of this list will re-think
their idea of our socviety when they read how a highly intelligent and
educated person, like you, lives within the system. I wish I could ,
presently , do many of the things you are doing. In the city, other than
hiring laborers, cash is just not used a lot, and I can't grow my own food
(well, I do, but not wenough to sustain us)

Sometime , when you have time. Explain to me how when I move to the country,
I can have adairy animal that doesn't haver to be milked every day. I'm
thinking that I could leave meat animals and a smaller dairy animal with
plenty of food and water and leave them alone for a few days at a time, if
necessary. But, I thin goats have to be milked every day, just like cows.
You don't have to answer this am, but this is something I have thought about
and don't know the answer ......bobford
