Well, a well stocked library could be construed as being anti any government as it gives one the opportunity to read about things most governments don't want you to know. <g>

Most modern interpretations of socialism = forced sharing. Libraries don't force sharing. And, before anyone jumps on the taxes bandwagon, most libraries get most/a lot of their funding from local folks doing fundraising and from book sales!

Providing an opportunity for it's populace to learn and grow could be ostensibly construed to be a function of ANY government, not only a socialist one.?? And, most libraries are local, providing more local input, and control..
