And, perhaps, I stopped on Ms. Whine after I read her thesis.

As to the AIG, ah so? What do you know abou them? What the Dems have put out? You do realise that they aren't a bunch of wingnuts sitting out in the woods with a bunker of weapons, don't you? You do know that they are duly recognized political party?

I'm surprised at you Lynda. As a woman who always does her homework, I
would have thought you'd have checked to be sure. But, it's a simple
name to spell and you got it right.

***Yupe, you bet I do. What I don't do is spelling <g> And the homework begins with the beginning. Delphi Technique. Much easier to spell <g>

If you're going to go by degrees of connection, I'm not far from Bill
Ayers myself. When I lived in Chicago, I was good friends with a woman
whose husband was a first cousin of Mr. Ayers. I found this out when
Ayers came back to town, and she made some comment about it. I gather
since that time he's become something of a bigwig in education reform,
so I'm sure many politicians know him personally and have sat on
boards with him.

***Which would put you 3 to 4 degrees removed. Teflon and Ayers are good buds beginning with Daddy Ayers, Terrorist Ayers and wifey the brains behind terrorists acts Dohrn-Ayers. Puts your degrees a tad bit further away. AND, I know everyone thinks if they keep repeating it with the implications of "you my [batting eyelashes] silly people, he *only* sat on boards just like a whole bunch of other people" it will make it true but that just ain't the case. He was personally asked by Ayers to not only sit on the board but to chair the board, to help write the by-laws AND to disperse the $50 mill! AND, asked by Dohrn to sit on another board w/Ayers.

But as long as we're talking about associations, what about Sarah
Palin's long association with members of the Alaska Independence
Party? I can only imagine how you'd be howling if Michelle Obama had
once been a member of the Black Panthers. And you do know that this
spring she recorded a speech for their party convention, don't you?

***O.K., so a politician knows and/or is married to a member of a duly recognized political party. Other than the hysteria on television, do you know anything about AIG? As to Ms. "I've never been proud to be an American," I've read her whiney thesis, that says plenty about her. And, please, can we compare apples to apples. Comparing a "slightly" reformed terrorist organization to a political party is a bit much.

Lynda, who oft wonders why it is that partician politics people are sooooo bound and determined to believe, all indications to the contrary, that if you aren't for their boy, then you must be for the other guy.
