You said I would be howling about Michelle Obama and somehow my reply to the howling part of your post seems to have migrated to a different part of the page. At anyrate, after reading her thesis and her references to get her current job, or the position immediately prior to the $200,000 raise compliments of pork from Teflon, I stopped reading about her.

And, spell checker wouldn't help a whole bunch cause it doesn't work on this computer. Sometimes you click it and it works. Sometimes you click it and it shuts the blooming window and then asks if you want to notify Microsoft that there's been an error. When it does that, you loose the whole blooming e-mail. The only spell checker that works is in WordPerfect. Between migraines and carpel tunnel and no spell check, it is nothing short of a miracle that anyone can read anything I write on the computer <g> And I have one of those voice thingys but then you have to do a check on that. Besides, if I use that I can't sit here and sing along with Joplin, Junkyard and hum to Tchaikovsky. Now that would be torture <g>

Degrees are the number of people between you and the end run. So, degree #1 would be the wife. #2 would be the 1st cousin. #3 would be Ayers. And it would be 4 degrees of separation if his only contact with his cousin would be by blood and no actual physical contact. For example, I have cousins back in Springfield, MO that I've never met. So, you are 3 or 4 degrees away from Ayers.

O.K., how many people are going to write negative obituaries? Hardly a source for unbiased information. Sr. Ayers was arse deep in politics with Daley and that ain't exactly a clean game! Ah, particularly in Chicago.

Do I think Ayers, Sr. would do favors for people who were politically connected and might want Obama to be their spear carrier? Sure, that's how politics works! Follow the degrees of connection between Ayers and Sutton and al-Mansour and Wright and Farrakhan and Davis and the list goes on.

I know a lot of folks up in Alaska and the AIP is hardly something you could compare to the Black Panthers. Apples to apples, not apples to scarlet runner beans.

Teflon lives in a world he invented. His books are fairytales. His father wasn't someone in a high position of authority. He was a wife abusing, alcoholic bigamist. And that is just one example. He didn't vote against the war and he didn't speak out against. In fact he said that him and George Bush were the same. The only difference being who was in a position to execute. Another example. Poor little black kid that was discriminated against. Classmates are amazed because he was idolized because of being a sports star. Just another example.

IF a person chooses to believe the fairytale, well, so be it. Just don't expect everyone else to believe the illusion. And don't play the "if you aren't voting for Teflon, then you must be in McNasty's pocket" routine. I'm not voting for either one. In fact, I've already voted and it wasn't for either one!

You have only one reliable defense against illusions and that is caution with a marked degree of cynacism or, as I prefer to call it, intelligent skepticism.

Uh, what's that got to do with the price of eggs in China?

***Yupe, you bet I do. What I don't do is spelling <g> And the homework
begins with the beginning. Delphi Technique. Much easier to spell <g>

Most people are able to look at the printed word and transcribe it.
I'm sure spelling checker helps you on other than proper names.

***Which would put you 3 to 4 degrees removed. Teflon and Ayers are good
buds beginning with Daddy Ayers,

I've never gotten this degree of separation figured out. I was a
friend of Bill Ayers first cousin (but a closer friend to his wife).
By Daddy Ayers I assume you're referring to Thomas Ayers, who was the
CEO of Commonwealth Edison. Whatever he was, he wasn't a terrorist.
One of his grandchildren has his obits posted on her Web page
(http://kimallen.sheepdogdesign.net/cinnamon/2007/06/thomas-g-ayers-1915-2007.html).
He seems to have been an honorable man. Do you think he was a
terrorist?

Terrorist Ayers and wifey the brains behind
terrorists acts Dohrn-Ayers. Puts your degrees a tad bit further away.
AND, I know everyone thinks if they keep repeating it with the implications
of "you my [batting eyelashes] silly people, he *only* sat on boards just
like a whole bunch of other people" it will make it true but that just ain't
the case. He was personally asked by Ayers to not only sit on the board but
to chair the board, to help write the by-laws AND to disperse the $50 mill!
AND, asked by Dohrn to sit on another board w/Ayers.

Wow! So you think that Tom Ayers was leading up to, uh, what? And
Barak Obama was his spear carrier. I have my own conspiracy theories,
but I think yours are in the realm of fantasy.

***O.K., so a politician knows and/or is married to a member of a duly
recognized political party. Other than the hysteria on television, do you
know anything about AIG?

Just what I've read on their Web page: http://www.akip.org/ and the
links to it. Do you have better connections to them?

Marie
