You know what I hate about writing this? By default it makes me look
like I support McCain, and I don't..but..

Are those schools so different than schools or churches that teach hatred of gays, or communists, or pro-choiceists, other religions?
A > mild example would be Palin's church, where the preacher questioned
whether anyone who voted for Kerry could get into heaven. Or Obama's Rev. Wright, who I don't think claims to be a patriot. There are lots and lots of people on both sides of the aisle that act in vile ways in the name of patriotism.

Yes, because it is not just hate, it is anti-government,
anti-establishment as well. Plus, taxpayer money shouldn't go to such
organizations, and usually doesn't, that is why they are called
'private'. We don't fund church schools. If we don't fund the white
supremist gay hating private schools then we shouldn't be funding the
black supremist, white hating schools either. The foundation money
should have never been used for such, nor should taxpayer money. Our
society has the freedoms to allow such schools to exist, but hard earned
tax money should not support it. I know things are different in every
state, and that is fine, but IMO, the money should have been kept in
more mainstream programs.
Groups and schools like that exist, sure, but they should not be
supported by the President of the United States, or the Vice President.
IMO, it would be the equivalent of the President coming out and
burning the flag in the Rose garden of the White House. Flag burning
has it's place, maybe over in Iran or Iraq, but not by the POTUS. There
are just some things that it is inappropriate for a President or Vice
President to do.

Mccain was on the board of directors of the U.S. Council for World Freedom. They are dedicated to wiping out communism around the world, and involved in the Iran-contra scandal.

Another new and relevant story that has arisen of late. All contacts
and associations should be examined. At least, in McCains case, it
seems that people are talking and that there is a paper trail to follow.

Is trying to overthrow a leader
of a sovereign country so different than radical Muslims who want to wipe out the US, or US radical who believe in change through violence?

Yes, and yes. If the US overthrew or assassinated say, Castro, we would
not be marching through the streets of Cuba killing every Cuban we saw.
We would not be saying...pledge allegiance to our flag or die...
On the other hand, radical Islam has no mercy. As an infidel, you
either convert or you die. Period.
Look at Iraq...we took over a sovereign country..overthrew Hussein, and
yet, we are allowing them to govern themselves as best as they can. We
are not trying to change Sharia law...their justice system...their
society, we just took out the government. If the tables were turned,
our system of justice would be gone, as would our culture....sharia or
die.

There seems to be a lot of hatred and intolerance around.

Well, my tolerance ends when my survival is threatened.
Fundamentalist, radical Muslims want to kill us. KILL. They don't
want to talk of living together and giving peace a chance. They hate us
and they want to kill us. My response is, not if I see you coming...
