Okay, on your priority list, is the big catfish or the swimming at

Swimming. Could perhaps recatch the catfish and keep him in an old bathtub
for a few days.

Dynamite would do more than scare them away. It is an old trick used
to harvest fish. Boom! And up float the fresh but dead fish. Ever eat
snake? Might be a way to overcome snake phobia. Eat thy enemies.
Probably best to do it right there at the edge of the pond, in case
any slithering relatives are watching.

It would kill everything in the pond, right? I don't feel good about killing
the frogs & turtles for these darn snakes. I don't even necessarily feel
that the snakes need to die, if we could relocate them to the creek. Don't
laugh.

So, does snake taste good?
