It also seems to me that the more you go down to your pond, the less the snakes will want to hang out there. Eventually it seems that they'll find somewhere else without the noise and bustle that they'd rather be.

As for the ducks, would they become prey for the snakes? They'd certainly clear the water, though...if they're there that long.

PS- I'd skip the dynamite- it'll kill the fish and spare the snakes.
