What have you already given up?

That is a really good question in its own right. It is easy for us to justify and rationalize just about anything we do. And remember I spend much of my time pulling my home around the country.

I grew up in a make do or do without culture and I have lived that way most of the time. I drive old cars and maintain them myself. I like to grow at least some of my food and will be doing that when I find a place to park.

There are other things but I am pressed for time right now, I am about to use more hydrocarbons and create more pollution as I am leaving for Alabama tomorrow morning. I will be doing Red Cross Disaster Relief for the next couple of weeks.

The synopsis:
Global Warming Commentary
First hour guest, science writer and Newsmax columnist Lowell Ponte
offered commentary on global warming, which he does not view as being
associated with human-contributed C02 emissions. He argued that the
issue has become overly politicized, and that Al Gore's film An
Inconvenient Truth is laden with errors.

I just did some minor reading on the Kyoto Protocol.
Annex 1 countries, the nations required to cut energy usage. Oops! It's not energy usage it's greenhouse gases that must be cut... Neither China nor India are not grouped in with the Annex 1 nations.

At least as interesting is the list of List of Non-Annex I Parties to the Convention. The long list of nations that don't have to worry about using energy.

I'd like to invite you to take a look at these lists and see if you can see some agenda besides modifying the earth cycles.
