I've worn pantyhose four times in seven years (a dressy wedding and formal
business functions--ugh), so I guess I have you guys beat. In my previous
life, before moving to a rural environment, I wore it all the time and
always thought of all the inventions...I hated it. I figured out how to
drive home (in Charleston) while peeling off my dang pantyhose. Got some
funny looks but so what. I'd walk in the door home from work w/ my ball of
pantyhose in my purse.

Even while doing mortgage loans in Floyd these last six years, I never wore
them. My most dressed didn't include it. Nobody cares here and that's the
way I like it. I have never looked more unglamourous--and I've never been
happier. I won't go back to the dark side.

I've seen them used (by men, yet) for all kinds of things,


My Indiana grandma's all used sections of pantyhose to hold soap and tied it
in a loop to hang on the tub faucet handles.
